Facility
Blake Gastroenterology Associates (BGA) and Mt. Airy Ambulatory Endoscopy Surgery Center (MAAESC) are housed in a newly constructed state of the art building at 6827 Germantown Avenue; the heart of the historic ?Mt. Airy section? of Philadelphia.
The uniqueness of the building allows patients to be seen in initial consultation (BGA) and return to the same building (MAAESC) to have their scheduled procedure (i.e. either a colonoscopy, EGD, etc.) performed. Off street parking is also available for patients returning for their procedures (colonoscopy &/or EGD, etc.). Individual secure lockers are provided for personal belongings. The private holding and recovery area provides comfortable accommodations for both the patient and the escort that accompanies the patient to the facility.
Staff
Our professional staff (clerical, nursing, anesthesia, technicians, and physicians) are all dedicated to providing the highest level of quality care possible. We?ve found that treating our patients like family; like we would like to be treated, helps guarantee that our staff remains focused at all times. Our goal is to make the experience a pleasurable memory. An experience that ensures all our patients wants to encourage others to come in for a life saving procedure (colonoscopy) in the fight against colon cancer.
